My Astrology Journey

Hi, I’m Julie, and welcome to my website. My interest in Astrology began as a teenager, like many others I would buy the yearly astrological books, based on your sun-sign and read all about me! Later I discovered Linda Goodman and enjoyed reading her sun-sign descriptions. However I never fully resonated with my Cancer sun-sign description. Yes I was sensitive and emotional, yet wasn’t quite the nurturing homebody depicted in the sun-sign description.

Then in my early 20’s I discovered Athena Starwoman, who used to write for the Cleo Magazine. I decided to write away for a complete astrology birth chart/book.

Well, this certainly answered many questions for me, and was a pivotal point on my astrology journey, as I learnt that the planet Uranus was a key player in my chart! This explained my desire for freedom, individuality and independence, which is sharp contract to the Cancer sun-sign which seeks security.

From then on, I educated myself by reading as much as I could about the planets and signs. Also around this time I began attending the local yearly astrology fair. But this still wasn’t enough!

It was in the early 90’s, just before my Saturn-Return that I began formal astrology studies with Astro Logos, taught by Bernadette Brady & Darrelyn Gunzburg. This was a life-changing experience for me, which led me not only to understand myself more fully, yet also to understand the differing psychological make-up of others’, and to be more considerate of their perspective.

This ultimately led me to working and consulting at Quantum Metaphysical Bookshop, where I stayed for 16 years expanding and growing as an Astrologer. Being at Quantum gave me the opportunity to meet a unique and wide range of various clients, and within this time I strengthened both my intuition and astrological skills.
